No not a new paint colour but the stuff I need to lubricate something.

Can get it online but anyone seen any for sale in the real world recently?

Need some by Sunday morning or it all gets difficult.

How about from a pencil/ How much do you need? Could you scratch enough from a pencil lead?

Sadly not, pencil graphite is mixed with clay and binders.

Are you near any marina's, Its used in fibre glassing isn't it?
To stop the moulds sticking.
Where abouts in Surrey are you?

Thanks for the responses but I eventually got some from my Great Uncle Jim, whose garage/workshop looks like Steptoe & Son but is a national treasure. I should have know right off he would have some!

Most things in there with price labels still on are denominated in shillings and pence. Can lose entire afternoons just browsing through the contents.

Paint with lead and cadmium in it, cyanide case hardening salt, asbestos mats, every tool not in used coated in Cosmoline, circular saw with no guards, ah the good old days.....
