Pre Purchase Inspection

I'm thinking of buying an old SL and would like to get an inspection done. A while back I came across a self employed chap in the general Surrey / Sussex area who seemed to know his stuff, I thought I had saved his details but now I cant find them. Just wondered if anyone here knows who I'm talking about. He worked alone and was not connected to these websites that just send along a local mechanic. Thanks.

I would think a lot would depend on where the car is located - I assume you’re buying remotely being based in Ireland?

If you have details of the car in question, I am sure we could recommend a trusted MB independent specialist who would be able to give you a report on the condition of the car
