Hi all, I've just recently had a droning noise from underneath which is a low volume moaning sound.
It's only occurs in way home from work at low speed and then vanishing?
I'm thinking of worse case scenario of dry diff or propshaft!!?
I'm gonna take all the under panels off and lube everything in sight.
Maybe change diff oils.

Was adding is changing out the propshaft a big job... expensive?

While you're under there check the parking brake cable isn't rubbing against the propshaft. The clips become brittle and break and it can cause all sorts of strange noises.

It's time for new diff oil anyway.
Fuchs Titan Sintopoid, FE SAE 75W-85, about 1.5 L
Mark each end of prop and joining flange, to be sure it goes back as came off, look for bearing slop / rumble, uj clicking / seizure.
