Have you looked at your vins schematics. ?

It looks in theory like it may be possible if you remove the front undertray (if fitted)

That said, when I changed the front lower grille on my S204 ( which was a bumper off job ), it became very quickly apparent that MB bumpers are complex bits of kit, with multiple layers of impact absorbers etc hidden behind the bumper cover. There was definitely a sequence of removal to get at the grille I was changing and that may also be the case for the parking sensors.
