I was under the bonnet today and decided i dont need the Race chip connected, so removed it from under the bonnet, i didn't remove the dial but took it for a road test, the dial was still lit up so turned it and it still works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how can that be ?

You've got both a RaceChip tuning box , now removed . Definitely sell on or bin .

And as discussed RaceChip throttle controller .
By all means keep that .

Hi had one of those in my ML years ago and when I took it of for some reason the car thought it was still hooked up strange

its all a bit clearer now, just stumbled on a Y/T video of the guy who owned and fitted them back in 2019  yes it has 2 units fitted, the one ive just taken off is the GTS unit, might just keep the throttle controller in place. 👍
