Race of Champions at Wembley

Mathias Ekstrom excels at this event.

Be interesting to see if He makes it three in a row....pretty damn good record considering the other entries.

Yes, I'll be there

What was it like? I went last year, and it was vvvvvery cold!

I was there, and it was VERY cold!
But well worth it... good day out, and entertiainment was great.
Unfortunately Man vs. Machine didnt quite happen, due to safety issues...
the nigth before it was raining heavily, and the cold snap froze it all over, and then there was an oil leak on Saturday's testing.
The sound of the Lewis Hamilton's and David Coulthard's F1 cars was great echoing through the stadium!
and that SLR sounded fantastic from way way up where i was sitting (cheap tickets!!!!) but glad i went, even though I could barely feel my body through cold numbness!

I was also there last year. Baltic, took me until June to thaw out. Was worth it to see DC take an F1 car round wembley:bannana:

I was quite happy to witness my fellow Guernseyman and friend, Andy Priaulx, knock out the pretty awesome Mathias Ekstrom.

I was also surprised to see just how much Schumacher sucks in a tin top car! Beaten by a Nascar driver, who was astonished to discover the wheel could turn right, by quite a way as well!! Though Carl Edward's first go in the little supercharged Fiat 500 went very wrong at the very first corner. Schumacher was untouchable in any of the open wheeled card though.

Sebastian Loeb and David Coulthard (who crashed every X-Bow he could lay his hands on) had 3 very close battles to establish 1st and 2nd places, the scot managing to avoid the barriers to win in the rally car, but loosing out by a tenth in the deciding race in the buggies.

Is it right that Button will be driving a Matsutake?
