Rear parking sensor

Hi all, hope you are all well? I have a 2012 C Class 220cdi. The issue is the rear parking sensors.

When selecting reverse or neutral; 4 red bars appear on the rear display bar mounted on the head lining with a audible beep.

I cleaned the sensors etc but no change.

Front sensors are fine and working. I have also noticed the “parking space finder” function doesn’t work either, excuse the naming! Lol, are they all connected to each other ie does the complete parktronic system fail if one sensor goes.

How much would MB charge for a new sensor, and paint with fitting?

Any advise would be welcome.

the parktronic usually turns itself off when it has issues. you really need a scan to find out which sensor it is. a good douse with wd40 front and rear of the sensors can do some good. the rears can be got at behind the bumper.
