Hi I've replaced my engine coolant sensor on my 2002 SL500 because my radiator fan was running constantly when engine was running from starting goes off when ignition is off cleared the fault but fan is still running constantly it's doing my head in plz can anyone help with this problem just got another diagnostic and now there's more problems

Some models has an engine coolant/radiator fan controller that communicates with the engine management system via CAN-bus. If that communication is broken, the fan controller defaults to running the fan continuously in order to protect the engine from overheating. You should check the wiring and the connections in the engine compartment for cracs, moisture ingress, oxidated contact elements, etc.
