After charging main (original 6 years old) battery and charge low again the next day I bought a new battery.
Key was in pocket with doors closed but unlocked.

Now I have the above error showing as well as red air bag light.

I did drive it for 3 to 4 miles to see if it would clear but it didn't.

I left the new battery on charge overnight when I then discovered that that wasn't fully charged but the errors were still showing this morning so took a lift to work.

I am hoping once I get codes read and cancelled this evening all should be well.

Has anyone else seen this before?

Not so lucky then

Code is B2735-2B squib for the pyro fuse has malfunction.

Anybody have any ideas please?

The SRS sends a "NO-Fire" test current through the igniters in order to check for bad connections.
In case of a car crash, it sends an "ALL-Fire" current. What you could do is locate the igniter
in question and wiggle its connector in order to see if the fault goes away. Unfortunately
a SRS DTC is not automatically resetted once problem is gone. You will have to either get
a Diagnostic tool for yourself or rely on an authorized service center.

WARNING
=======

If you are unfamiliar with working with SRS Do NOT engage yourself with the system!
The energy required to fire an airbag is 0.1mJ equivalent to a pencil dropped on a table from 4" hight.
An electrostatic discharge can cause the airbag to go off. Furtermore, the SRS maintains its own energy reserve
in case of the battery getting damaged in a crash. This reservoir is a bunch of capacitors
that will keep the charge for several minutes after the battery has been disconnected.

When working with SRS, I always wait 30 - 60 minutes and also always wear anti static
protection (a wrist connection tied to the car chassis and a protective earth.)

Thanks for that Uky. Since my last post I've done some searching on other forums and you tube, and favourite at the moment is a pre-fuse in a panel next to the battery. I've either blown a fuse when reconnecting the battery or dislodged something.

I have the same problem, the car worked perfectly first time when I took out the battery to change a fuse in F32, but when I bought a good replacement fuse from Hella and put everything back together, I got this error. Searching on forums, I have found that I have to change the F32 prefuse box, but I have ordered the relay itself and I try it to see how is going. Please keep us updated.

I'll report any updates as they happen, but away for a week before I'm able to do anything. Plan is to remove prefuse panel and check the fuses. I do wonder what I did wrong to get in this position, and I think maybe I connected earth battery side before live, not too sure it makes a difference but that's my theory.
