Retaining Driving Mode

I would like the car to stay in Indiviual mode as i have tailored the settings to my preference.

There does not seem to be any logic to what mode the car will start up in.

Some days it stays in Individual all day long and can remain in Indiviual for a couple of days

Some days it reverts back to Comfort randomly.

It's not a great issue but does anyone know what the particulars are of what mode it feels like starting in, and if possible can the car be made to stay in Individual mode.

On my w213, when I select individual mode, it will remain in that mode for 4 hours, even if the car has been switched off, after that it reverts back to default, comfort mode.

I may be wrong, but I think the car has to default back to comfort mode because that's what the emissions figures are based on. Otherwise manufacturers could rig the results with an unusable super economy mode which everyone would subsequently never select.

My W205 C43 always reverts back to comfort mode, even if I switch off for just a few minutes. I don't think there's any way to change that.
