Had my AC pump seize over the weekend which shredded the serpentine belt. Is there any way I could get car back running without A/C bypassing the AC pulley. I would need to know what size belt to use and how to route it.

Car is a 2006 E320 cdi v6 om642.

If you pull the fuse for the ac the clutch shouldn’t engage on the compressor and you can then use a correct length belt. That assuming the siezure is pump side of the clutch.

The AllData DIY shows the belt length on an '07 and '08 642 to be 2030 to 2040 mm.
Not sure how many ribs, so need to count.
There is no entry for a belt that bypasses the A/C so you'll need to measure.
