Hi guys. I've noticed that my drivers side front door doesn't close quite as positively as the passenger side and sometimes it needs a second firmer swing shut to get it fully home.

Closer inspection sees the top part of the door frame is a fraction out of line with and increased gap at the top and a decreased gap at the bottom. There's no wind noise or anything so the door is sealing fine.

If this was a kitchen cupboard door I'd just wind the top hinge in a touch and the bottom one out. Can you do similar with these doors? I'll try and post pics of the hinges..is it just a case of loosening these a little, twist the door a tad then pinch back up. Then adjust the door catch if needed?

Just how I feel, taken delivery of an E350 Estate 2014 and over 50MPH, there's defilately a whoooshing noise from the drivers side door pillar.

No wooshing from mine thankfully. I've adjusted the door catch so closes without a problem but the top of the door still looks a few mil out.

In wary of loosening off those door hinges though, I might make it worse.

What might help with your wooshy noise is giving the door rubbers a clean and then apply some gummy pfledge seal rejuvenator stuff.

Over of my doors is not quite aligned properly. It sticks out by a couple of mm. How did you adjust yours?

I didn't mate. It's not causing any physical issues just catches my eye every now and then.

I'm very wary of loosening off those door hinge bolts for fear of making it worse. I suspect the door weighs a fair bit. Might be a two man job??? Hence why I asked.

Mine almost looks like the door isn't completely closed. No wind issues but the look is driving me nuts. I've noticed the catch in that door isn't as recessed as the other but can't see how to adjust it.
