has anyone bought a made to measure rubber boot liner for a S211?
Abs
I've just had one given to me - can I help?
Hi! Sorry I should have put my question in the original post lol
I was going to ask where you get it/how it’s held up.
Abs
Not sure where to get, but it is fairly rigid and built-to-fit so just slides in. You need to remove the secret parcel thing (not sure what they are called - the piece that goes behind the rear seats) for it to allow the tailgate to be closed. Shame you are not closer or you could have used mine whenever needed!
BTW- takes us a fair amount of storage, but given it is rubber suppose it could be left out in a garden corner somewhere if need be
I do.
From a seller on eBay. It's so long ago, I can't find it in my purchase history; it must have been in 2014, and it's been in five S211s and two S212s. It's not had a hard life - mostly with a rug on top of it, then dogs on that - and it's still in excellent condition.
It came with a (thin) fitted carpet liner as well, and I think I probably obtained it from a seller that sold products from the same manufacturer as makes this one: TLME100921M TAILORED ANTISLIP BOOT LINER MERCEDES E W211 ESTATE 2003-2009 | eBay
I say that because the "anti-slip" finish looks identical, and the reference number on mine is 100920; that one is TLME 100921 - near enough for guvmint work...
It's not actually rubber at all; it's made of a fairly stiff, quite thick flexible PVC, and very hard-wearing.
Gollom, are you still using yours? If not how much for it?
Let me ponder. I suspect not as do not know when I will need it until I need it! LOLGollom, are you still using yours? If not how much for it?
