Seat belt extender

Hi, i was wondering if any knows if there's a fuse for the seat belt extenders on the merc e350 cabriolet 2011 model??

It was working fine, then all of a sudden today it was stuck out and wouldnt retract at all.so now its stuck out.

Has anyone had this problem previously or know how to solve the issue please

It will push back in if you just want it out of the way till you get a proper fix.

Ive tried it wont push back in..is there any fuses that operate these at all?

I pushed it back in following day it started to work again.then this morning it came out 3/4's of the way then stopped.ive pushed it back in again now .is there a switch mechanism inside the door for it?

It will be controlled by the DCM and there will be limit switches in the butler. You need a diagnostic session to be sure.

Since its working once in a while it sounds more like a strip, clean, lube and rebuild job to me.

Had one of mine out, pretty much all non user serviceable. Mine had just a stripped tooth on one of the drive cogs, £30.00 for ebay replacement. Not worth the effort to pull it apart as I would never have found a cog for it.
