Shaking while idle

Vito shaking while idle, starts fine but heavy vibration also glow plug light comes on after starting. Only when cold but vibration on idle doesn’t change

My 2010 Vito also does this. Did you find a solution?

bad glow plug or glow plug controller.... It would be nice to tell what engine...
then worn injector or uncoded injector can cause idle problems too... and finally fuel quantity valve can be playing up.

It's a 2010 2.1 litre, 111 CDI with 205,000 ks.
I think I've ruled out engine mounts as I tried supporting the engine and transmission with jacks and it made no difference to the sound.
I will have to get mechanic to check the injectors like you say-
It does have a glow plug lamp on for a while after starting lately, but the noise and vibration existed before that issue.
Just wondering, how could the glow plug issue cause such issues though?
The van runs great other than that. I'm just tired of it feeling and sounding like crap under 1000 rpm.
