Ahhhh ... Have I told you all how much I love my C270? ...
see Driving/Incidents/Roadrage > post entitled "Prang"

Anyway, She's back! ... after only owning her for 4 (now 6) weeks, I'd forgotten just how lovely she is!

In this time i've been driving a 1.4 Corsa Auto (2011 plate loaner)
and advise that if you ever think your car could do with a little more power .. Drive THAT! - Sheeeeesh... deadly!

I am insured with Swiftcover.com .. they were the cheapest possible fully comp offering that covered all the bits I needed to cover (business mileage etc) .. so, having had my accident, I'm sleeves up and ready for a fight with them - we ALL know what Insurance Co's are like!!!

ONE PHONE CALL - that's it! (could have done it online but I'm a people person) ... In this one phone call, I stated that I wanted a repair centre that deals with Mercs not just any 3rd party body shop -and R&R Auto's Basingstoke fitted the bill.

R&R Auto's .. I actually called them to advise that they would be working on my car and that the police had recovered it to Chertsey .. from that moment until it was delivered an hour ago, R&R Auto's have called me with damage assessment and then texted me every Tuesday and Thursday with updated progress and likely delivery date of the car.

They state "A service that is second to none".
And I can not fault them on this at all ...

So, whilst everyone's dealing are always a little different - in my opinion and experience, I can whole heartedly (sp?) recommend both Swiftcover.com and R&R Auto's Basingstoke - Welcome to R & R Autos Bodyshop Limited

A Great service from both. :thumb:

The Car is perfect, not a mark ..well, as perfect as it ever was. (Front wheels are both curbed)

Now .. I'm going to look at her again, caress her some more and then - I'm going to drive her again and again and again

Cheers,
Jud ;)

Excellent result.
Swiftcover din't half load my premium up when I went to reinsure after a minor altercation with someone's wall.
I ended up with Sheilas Wheels charging me the same as 12 months before with Swiftcover. Although I must say Swiftcover did deal with the claim very efficiently - to the wall owners delight.

As an innocent party I found swift cover who are my insurer very slow in recovering my excess and their costs from an insured 3rd party despite a court order against them. If you don't harass and badger swift cover/axa nothing and I mean nothing happens despite an open and shut case in their and yours favour.
