SL320 - unusual colour

Blimey that was a brave choice of colour combo for the original purchaser!

Only seen that colour once before ... think it might have been on a C43?

Big money for a 320.

Paintwork colour wouldn't be my first choice, but I could live with the blue interior if it wasn't for the wood trim. It looks more like Bakelite ( polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydride) from the early 1900's and would have to go

maybe david dickinson

was the first owner, imagine him in the paintshop,i want the car to be the colour of my skin.

Really not a good colour IMO and pricey me thinks?

I must admit, I do like to see rarer colours, whether I like the colour or not! The big brother of this car attended the national SL day at Blenheim Palace this year, and I think it was awarded the best 129 on the day, looking great in the flesh. It was also unofficially mentioned that there was believed to be only one other in the country in this colour - don't know if this was referring to a 500 or 129s in general.

I really like that colour, but the wood would have to go and a black interior would work better than the blue. I've seen much worse colours on r129s.
