A couple of weeks ago, the seat lumbar/massage controls on my 2019 SL400 (R231) became unresponsive. Fast forward to now and with the help of a foxwell NT530, I have narrowed the issue down to the electric motor within the pneumatic pump.
I've dismantled it all down and confirmed the issue with the motor using a multimeter (unlimited resistance at all points while rotating). I believe I have found the exact pump for sale here and am checking with the seller if they know.
My question is, what is the name for the metal collar on the drive shaft that fits into the graphite impeller and does anyone know how to remove it and where to buy a replacement if I somehow break it? If anyone knows the correct search term, that would be a massive help too.
The disc below is graphite so I can't just jam a screwdriver in there but was thinking of heating it with a blowtorch and using pliers or the like.
