Hi, I thought I'd share my experience with the LoMo M1. I decided to go with this unit over all the others because its fully integrated into the car and does not require a laptop/usb connection to make adjustments. Using the steering wheel controls you can select anything from +8 to -8 separately for the front and rear right from the dash.

Looks a nice piece if kit, love the control from the cluster. I see it returns to stock levels at motorway speeds is this user defined or hard coded?

Looks very cool.

Slightly off topic but noticed the OP has the same/similar wheels as I do, but with black centre caps (mine are silver).

Were these caps original or did you fit them?

Would look good on my black car I think.

Its set at the time of purchase, unless you specify differently I think the default is 35mph. I believe this is the same speed where the car would naturally reset its ride height if you had used the standard 1 light or 2 light 'raise suspension' button next to the gear shifter.

I leave my LoMo setting at -8 but normally have the standard raise suspension set to one light. This sets the car about half way between standard and its lowest setting. Then if I'm cruising 'low and slow' i just turn the 1 light off.

If that makes sense :-)

I had the standard wheels refurbed with anthracite and a new diamond cut face. I then purchased genuine black center caps at a ridiculous price, approx £13 each i believe.

Hi, having just purchased a SL55 myself i was thinking it would look nice just slightly lowered... Where did you purchase the device please...

Thanks in advance Craig...

the only one i know of in the uk, loMo is a nice unit, not cheap tho

In the end I went direct to the manufacturer in Germany. Spoke via email to a Matthias Rieger, English wasn't great but we got there. Including the 'plug and play' wiring harness (recommended) I paid just over 900 Euro's.

Are they VIN locked? Do they do anything else, i.e. fault finding error codes etc etc...

Thanks in advance...
Craig

Hi Craig, there not locked to any vehicle but as for error codes etc I don't know. I did get a 'car too low' error on the dash when I set the front to -8 and the rear to +8 :D but I think that's just a normal error code for the car, nothing to do with the LoMo.
