Cls350cdi in palladium,C200k in tenorite,Slk320 in red.
Hi all,can any past/current owners give me any feedback on slk250cdi's of 2013,wifey has seen a well specked 63 plate,1 owner, full mb history with heated air scarf leather, parktronic front and rear, glass roof etc.

Had a 13 plate on lease for 3 years/20k miles. Perfect in all respects except easily kerbed alloys/shreded tyre walls and micro blistering of red paint.
Don't need a spare car at the moment but I wouldn't be surprised to see another on the drive in the future.

Hi Piff, thanks for your reply, car the wife is interested in has non amg 17" 5 spoke alloys(not as bulky as the larger AMG's most have),my only worry is that her daily commute is only a 4 mile roundtrip although every 4 weeks she will do a 200 mile roundtrip as well as 30 mile round trips the other 3 weekends each month(dpf ?).

I had a '13 lease SLK 250cdi AMG Sport for two years and loved it. So much so I ordered another one which I've now had for 18 months.

The only changes to spec I made was to include heated seats and airscarf (well worth having!) and the Bekker satnav (not worth it!) The '15 plates SLK came with red seatbelts which I don't like but it wasn't a deal breaker at the time. SWMBO likes them... :)

I'm not a high mileage user as I have three other cars and the SLK is just a nice weather toy, but, neither gave/have given any cause for concern, at all.

The power is plentiful (for my needs) and the handling is very good, improved actually in the '15 SLK due to Pirelli tyres instead of Continental in the '13.

In June the '15 goes back and I'm toying with going for the SLC. but am not convinced of the facelift front....

Maybe the C Coupe would make a nice change! :)

Hi Barry, leaning towards a 15 plate on now as the 13 plate the wife was interested in sold before we got to view it and on researching the facelift models are supposed to be quiter on tick over and better economy/lower road fund licence, looked at a brilliant blue slc with Sahara beige leather at mb Poole while my c300h was being serviced on Monday-stunning looking car!

Yes! Brilliant blue would be my choice too! Just not overly struck on the new front and the fake exhaust tips, although at least on the SLC there are pipes behind the "vanity panel"!

My wife used ours to & from work 5 days a week for 3 years, 4 miles each way. Friday to Tesco, 10 miles each way, occasional longer trips. No dpf problems

Most new cars have fake tips, even my A45 amg had fake quad tips!,in reality if you look at an ex demo fully kitted out slc against an equally spec. Last of the slk's like for like they drive exactly the same but would be £5 or £6 k different in price to buy outright and leasing would be different too;)

That's encouraging, adding in the fact diesels take longer to get to running temperature(20 minutes 6 miles in the winter from experience) at least the wife's would get to full running temperature and a good run at the weekends-thanks for the feedback:cool:

My wife and I both enjoyed our SLK 250CDI, a rare car that we both liked. A fairly firm ride in AMG Line spec and those diamond cut wheel corrode after a few winters, but otherwise a lovely all round car.
