Sprinters Engine variants?

Hi all, could anyone tell me the difference in the sprinter 310, 311, 313?
l believe the 311 & 313 are the same engines just tuned different (please correct me if lam wrong) just wondering if the same applies for the 310,
l have been looking for a 313, but a very good condition 310 has come up and wondering if its just a case of remapping? and if everything else under the bonnet is the same, thanks in advance

Hi,
In general the last two numbers denote the power output of the engine. I have an old 312, so it has 120 HP. The 313 you are looking for will have a nice 130 HP, however the 310 will have a lowly 100 HP. A mate of mine used to have a very desirable 316 with 160 HP and that was a real flyer. If you are after a 313 a 310 is a bit pedestrian, although depends what you want to use the van for. Test drive a 310 and then a 313 to feel the difference.
