hi all ,
how many sprinter owners are there, and what have you ,
neil

We have 2 at the moment. 311cdi and 313cdi both hi top LWB. 903 chassis.
Have had a few other in the past including 208, 308, 310, 312 and 412.

My dad's company has a 412 pickup which has had the diesel taken out and a 5L V8 stuck in it complete with the auto box from a 126.

Just recently bought a 2009 311 Cdi MWB with COMAND NTG2.5 retrofitted. :)

Previously had a 1997 208d which had been in the family since it was 3 years old.

We have a 313 CDI Car Transporter/ Recovery Truck... Great thing, we have had a few niggles with it but I really like it...

I had a LWB 313CDI for 7 years. on the whole it was a very good van apart from the costly repair to the Manutronic (Sprintshift) gearbox.

Depreciation rate was very good.

Our 313 has sprintshift as well...ok once you get used to it, but not worth the hassle. Our next one will certainly be a manual again.

I used to run 2 x 312 Lwb and an 814 7.5t and all three had in excess of 300,000 miles on them by the time they moved on. Bullet proof vehicles for sure :)

one owner 1998 312d here...

Even cleaned & waxed the roof last summer...

1996 312 LWB Hi Top that I have had since 2003 and now has 220,000 miles on it. That replaced my 508D which I had for 13 years and that had in excess of 500,000 miles and was only replaced by the Sprinter because the body was rusting away faster than I could repair it. Last year I had a blowing injector sorted but apart from that, it has been an excellent van.

I have two.

A 311CDi Traveliner SWB Auto, Climate, Cruise, PTC Heater in Vents, 9 Seats.

A 518CDI Manual Frankia 6 berth German Motorhome.

I have retrofitted Comand NTG2.5 to both.

Both do 20-25 Mpg

I had a Motorhome with SprintShift. Never again. But do like the true Auto and manual we have now.

7G-Tronic now available in Sprinters too!
