Hi, is there a way to get a part number for the squib / clock spring from the vrn with having to remove the steering wheel? I have tried the dealer but they won’t give it to me,

Thanks in advance

Thank you very much,
I will try that,
The clock spring is behind the steering wheel with the indicator and cruise control stalks on it

I think that the reply previously meant that part numbers from the registration details is rarely possible, the VIN is always required by Mercedes and other dealers to ensure accuracy ordering parts especially as there can be very wide variations in vehicle build specifications.

Also, dealers very rarely give out part numbers. It isn't in their interest to do so as you could then go and source the part yourself. 👍
