Steering Wheel Replacement

Hi all,

The leather on my A200 steering wheel is damaged so im looking at purchasing a replacement to be fitted (paddle shift model).

My question is, Will i need the steering wheel for my exact model i.e A200 diesel or would any work?

Im asking as the C/E class steering wheels are available on ebay and look exactly the same.

If not, my second question is, if i purchased a different steering wheel is there a way of taking out the wheel controls just leaving behind the actual leather wheel?

Any of those wheels will work. just make sure if yours has the multi function wheel with shit paddles that you get the same features on it. You'll want one that takes the same airbag too as that is the most expensive part of the wheel

Yes the ones i have been looking at all have the same steering wheel buttons, shift paddles and air bag space... basically identicle.
Just the difference is the wheels come off an E class rather than an A class.

But as you say i should be fine.
