Sticking internal fuel filler flap

Internal fuel filler flap sticks and won’t allow the nozzle to be inserted in to refuel, the only way that it can be released is to stick your finger or a flat screwdriver in at the bottom part of the flap to unlock the mechanism, anyone else ever had this problem and is it covered by the warranty? The car is a 2018 C220 4 matic AMG sports convertible.

If you give it a gentle push, it may then flick out a bit, enough to open.
I would have thought for a 2018, it is outside the warranty cover unless maybe you have extended warranty.

Sorry no, I'm not that mechanically inclined and rely on a Specialist for everything
