strange noise

hi all i have a w211 e 280 it has developed a strange clicking noise similar to a relay click it gets no faster no matter the speed it seems to be from the back ive tried everything to no avail anyone had this and resolved it comes if i press the throttle sharply

If it's coming from under the rear bench, it might be the electric fuel pump inside the fuel tank.

Otherwise possibly some relay inside the rear fuse box, though I doubt you would hear it inside the cabin.

its not a relay but thats the kind of sound could also be described like a dripping tap cant work if its front or rear im baffled by it only hope it goes away as it came
