sudden c/locking failure

Help!

Suddenly the c/locking has failed on my 2000 W215 CL500. Everything else works fine. The doors just don't unlock with the fob or the button on the dash, and the boot cannot be opened.

Could it simply be a fuse?

Suddenly the c/locking has failed on my 2000 W215 CL500. Everything else works fine. The doors just don't unlock with the fob or the button on the dash, and the boot cannot be opened.

I would suggest that the boot lock is jammed and as it is not locked properly it is messing up the settings for the central locking. Had that on my old E class.

Can you not open the boot with the metal key and start again. If not you may need a new boot lock, which in my case was under warranty.
