Surrey Monthly Pub Meet 1st Monday of the Month - Griggs Green

Last year (2018) we had regular Monthly Pub meets in the evening, between 4 and 12 of us would generally turn up for 7pm. Steven who was our regional co-ordinator (retired from the role) publicised these on the "official website".

Talking to Bryan at Brooklands today we thought we would try and get them running again.

So I propose First Monday of the Month, 7pm at:
THE DEERS HUT
Longmoor Road, Griggs Green, GU30 7NY
The Deers Hut Pub | Find Us

Its a few minutes off the A3, South of Hindhead.

Starting on Monday 1st April 2019 (the clocks move to BST the day before)

The Pub has good food and we generally eat whilst talking about all things Mercedes (and other tasty motors).

Do we need a signup list ?

At the moment, probably a bit too far away for me, on a Monday. But, I'm hoping to cut down my hours after April and working on a Monday probably won't be on the agenda so never say never.

Hi only just joined went to MBW yesterday, and was great. what about having a meet in Kent so we can have one nearer to people rather a 1.5 hour drive. Just a thought

The proposal was for those of us in Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire that dont have a nearby regular Pub Meet.
You could always put up a similar proposal for a Kent meet (there may already be one).

Just 'cos Surrey rolling road is now in Hampshire doesn't mean we have the Surrey pub meet in Kent. But a Kent pub meet would be 2 pub meets and 2 is always better than one. . .
If you do start a thread for a Kent one though, may I suggest if peoples wives & sisters/brothers husbands are coming, can they make it clear, if they are different people - for numbers

Just over a week to go to this one. This is a good location, just off the A3 with its wide fast sweeping bends, a couple of miles from the Hindhead Tunnel (with all that provides), lots of parking, great food, and hopefully plenty of old and new faces to chat to........

Get your names down people, anyone can come, doesn't matter what county you come from or car you have
