The ever reliable Jalopnik provides this link to an old Castrol video of the 1965 Targa Florio. Discontinued in 1977 as too dangerous it captures the flavour of another age when motoring racing was free of the stultifying commercial pressures of today.
Complete with "Chumley Warner" type driver interviews- I think its Ramond Baxter who is the overall narrator its a real "blast from the past":bannana: Its notable the cars were only slightly modified from those you could buy in your local showroom ---if you had the money.
The video quality is poor and best watched in small screen format, but its worth it for the sound of those Ferrari v12s alone.
