Took my Audio 10 out today...need some advice

Hi All

Took my Audio 10 out today, just to see whats what, with a view to getting some idea of what needs to be doiwn to get an ipod connection in there.

Anyway, whengot in there I took 3 pics.

Can some one tell me what the "spare" connector is for that I found?
One of the pics is the back of the unit, thought that might help.

Thanks, but multichanger is already in the glovebox and works?
