Unusual colour choice

Back in the 90's my local BMW dealer had the usual board of car colour samples and there was a bright pink swatch marked "Roland Rat Pink".
When I commented on it they did admit it was there as a joke.

Suits you, Sir. Suits you.

Wonder if it's original, a respray, or a wrap?

Ewwww! That one is definitely a hairdresser's car. I'm not surprised it's a one-off....

Little bits of rust under the pink in a few places, too, by the look of it.

Speaking from experience, back in the early 80's, we ordered a C126 500SEC in mill pink straight from Stuttgart.
MB always had PTS (Paint To Sample) options for their customers.

Not yer boggo-average Mum, then... 😀

and its back - looks like the rust has been 'sorted' - probably for at least 3 months

On memory, careful consideration needed if viewing. Land Rover Defender would be a preference. 🤔
Where does it say about defender?!

Says no idiots in the ad, so I guess that's me out. Such a shame.

Be fair - if the increase in asking price is indicative, they've spent £500 on making it right :D
Just noticed in the new listing they've splashed some cash on a matching steering wheel cover.
That's the clincher....who do I make the cheque out to?😂

Th address of the dealer is well known to me as a friend once owned a unit adjacent. The Defender jibe was a warning of the state of the (road) track up to their unit If viewing. If you were brave enough that is.
