upgrade head unit

I’ve recently bought a 2008 Mercedes ML320 edition 10. It has, what I believe to be the standard radio/navigation head unit. Can you recommend a suitable replacement head unit which has Bluetooth connection for iPhone and a usb plug to plug in an iPod classic -

It seems that your car (W164) can be retrofitted with COMAND NTG2.5, which is the original radio/satnav that was optional on your model in 2008:

The issue is that this unit isn't cheap even second-hand, and ultimately you will be paying for 10 years old technology.

Other alternative options are modern aftermarket units from Alpine/Kenwood etc, which won't be cheap either, or Android units which aren't expensive but can be of poor build quality.
