Thats the wrong steering wheel isnt it? Shouldnt it have a chrome star in the centre... My old 2000/V Sport W202 did...

Nope my 2000/v c43 is the same.

My steering wheel and airbag is the same as that too.
That is a rare beast, only about 90 "proper" 2000 model C43's were imported.
This one did,nt suffer from the "alleged" gearbox weakness.

I have recently had a replacement gearbox fitted which is a common fault on these cars.

Wonder if it has any rust or not?

Hi,
The Service Assyst has let mine go for in excess of 18,000 miles before telling me its due a service, regardless of mileage it won,t go any longer than 2 years without a service either.
