Vito Traveliner lost power on dual carriageway and start knocking

Hello to everyone,

I am new to this forum, i have join today and would like to ask for some help from other members, i am driving a Vito traveliner 113 Blue effeciency, a week ago i was driving on dual carriagway with 70 mph, suddenly lost the power and end up with the knocking sound, still i can drive but no power has anyone got the same problem?

Welcome to the forum! That doesn't sound good, but some more detail might help, eg, What is the engine number? Is it a heavy knock like bearings, or is it more top end? does it still start? What is the mileage on the car?

Give us some more detail and we might be able to point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the the reply, Engine number is 651940, i am not sure the attaced sound is coming from the botton end or top end, the mileage on the car is 312000, please open the attached sound file i recorded from the car. Thanks in advance.
