With the arrival of the Zoe I no longer need this one, so if anyone is after a cheap workhorse that would survive a nuclear holocaust this could be the one for you! :D

Volvo S70 CD 2.5 20v automatic, silver with beige velour interior. 181k miles. MoT to Jan 2017

Full set of original Volvo floor mats.

The car was originally supplied to Volvo UK in May 1997, and has fully stamped service history up to 162k, across 2 service books. I also have the owners manual and book wallet.

I bought the car early last year as a temporary runabout for commuting, my new car has now arrived so this is no longer required. The AC was not working at purchase, so I immediately diagnosed and replaced the pressure sensor and recharged the system, it now blows ice cold. I gave the car a full service shortly after (@175k), including fitting a new genuine cambelt kit, and also renewed the PCV system which is often neglected.

The car has recently received new front Dunlop tyres, and has half worn Pirellis on the rear. The CV boots were replaced for the MoT just before Christmas, it has a fresh 12 month ticket.

Externally, the paint on the rear bumper is a little flaky and both bumpers have a selection of battle scars on them, I suspect a previous owner favoured "contact" parking. The lacquer on the spoiler has blown, but the panelwork is largely straight and tidy. The interior is similarly aged with marks here and there, and the covers on the front cushions are a little loose but it is what it is, a reliable £500 workhorse. It's carried me to work and back, 50 miles a day, every day.

Viewing available in Thatcham (evenings & weekends) or Henley on Thames (weekday) by appointment.
