W124 E320 Wiring loom

Hi

I have a 1994 E320 and the wiring loom needs replacing. There is a well recommended guy in Bulgaria who will rebuild the harness for 250 Euros which is a very good price. I would have to take the old harness off and post it to him, whilst I understand that this is a relatively easy task I don't want to attempt it as i am likely to makes things worse and then refitting the new harness may cause the me the same grief.

Does anyone know of someone in the London area that might offer the same sort of refurb service? I know that there are firms like Silek who do a good job but it would cost about £600 inc VAT. I appreciate that these things can be expensive but I am trying to be careful with the pennies.

Beware the guy in Bulgaria, I've had to sort out his work before. Stick with Silek, or if it isnt too bad a decent auto electrician can do it.

I think that you should bear in mind the quote "buy cheap, buy twice"

Loom's easy to remove, I used Silek, stress free, answered questions, worked perfectly, did my throttle body too. Lower harness was more straight forward so managed that myself with some spare cable that Silek sent.
