Hi All,
I am a new member here and wondered if anyone could assist me with my latest issue... of which there are many!
My 1995 W140 S280 sat for a few months whilst I was abroad. Unfortunately, the person I asked to disconnect the battery did not do so so I powered up the car with my battery booster. All was fine but the key finally gave out (very worn and in bad condition). I ordered a new key, synced it to the car and all was well.
However, for some reason the immobiliser will suddenly refuse to disarm. Every time I open the car, the hazards just flash continuously (the siren I believe is broken). The green light flashes on the interior mirror and on the driver's door handle, and the car refuses to start. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, to no avail. Can anyone suggest some alternatives please? The alarms on these are infuriating!
Thank you!
