Hi, was getting transmission errors that were causing my car to go I to limp mode. So I removed the ECU and sent it of ECUTesting.

Unfortunately they were unable to repair it. They detected an intermittent commination fault apparently. They returned it to me and I reinstalled it.

However now there is no communication with the ECU.... I'm not sure if I did something wrong whilst reinstalling it or something when wrong whilst they were testing it.

Could I have missed something when reinstalling it? I made sure to plug it back in. Are the black cap solenoid unique, could I have got them in the wrong positions?

My main problem now is that I mistakenly removed the ECU whilst the car was in 'Park'. Now I can not get it out of park. Is there a way to manually set it neutral? Is the a something I can do inside the gearbox?

I'm getting an error code saying not communicating with the TCM. The gear positions are not showing on the dashboard. The gear lever moves but the wheels are locked and the car does not drive.

I'm ready to scrap the car but concerned about how I can get it scrapped when it can't move.

Thank for any help with this, it's been a long journey and I'm ready for it to end.
