W169 rear door window

Hi,

I have a 2011 Mercedes A class 160.
I'm trying to replace the window in the rear left door.
I can't get the new glass to fit in, it's like it's 5mm to big!
The door card is off and the rubber trim is removed, but still can't get it to fit.

Can anyone help?

You say 2011, which is a W169, but your profile says W168, which is the previous model? Do you definitely hafe tge correct item?

IIRC, the later BlueEfficiency (I think that's what they called them) W169s had a thinner windscreen, in an effort to save weight. No idea whether the door glass was also thinner, though.
