W204 220 2011 sudden loss of power

Hi all,

I have a w204 220d 2011 car. When I drive, the throttle stops responding for a few seconds. Then there is a “beep” and car comes back to life. Throttle responds as it should after the beep. Is this something ECU related? Any ideas?
