W204 ABS sensor?

Hey folks, the ABS light has come on on my 63 plate W204.

I’ve watched a couple of vids on YouTube on how to repair it and so obviously I’m now a fully quality mechanic and it doesn’t look too complex a job - take the wheel off, replace the sensor and away you go.

I’ve found a few replacement sensors online and they vary from £22 to £98.

So can anyone recommend the correct sensor?

Many contributors on this forum had issues with anything other than genuine MB sensors.

I use premium brands for sensors e.g. Bosch, Hella or MB and they are fine. In fact often when you take the original part off you'll find it isn't even branded MB.

Make sure you get the right part. Clean out the hole and whilst a little messy it's a simple job.

In fact sometimes you don't need a new sensor you just need to clean the sensor and the hole.

Cheers folks. I’m actually in north east Scotland at the moment so I’ve had to book it into the local garage for Monday morning so I’ll know more then.

I’d rather try and get it sorted before I have travel 400 miles back.
