Hi everyone,

Has anyone got any recommendations for puddle lights for a 2019 C Coupe?

please don’t suggest DMP car design, I’ve had an absolute nightmare with them

Do you mean this sort of thing?

Do you already have puddle lights, and just want to replace them with some fancy branded ones? If so then your main dealer parts counter can supply.. Alternatively there are aftermarket ones available on eBay as suggested by @SmartAmg which are much less expensive.

Ahhh, I didn’t realise MB did projection puddle lights

Are they puddle lights from under your door mirrors or are they from under the door?

Either will do, so long as they're decent.

I bought some from DMP that go in the door mirrors, they were pretty expensive (over £100), the passenger side didn't fit and the drivers side projected part of the logo onto the door instead of the floor. For that sort of money, I want them to be perfect.

If the car does not already have puddle lights, then retrofitting them might include fabricating the wiring loom and SCN coding with STAR (that's what it took on my W204).

If the car does have puddle lights, and you just want them replaced with projector ones, then all I can suggest is that you keep looking on eBay for projector puddle lights that fit the coupe... or opt for genuine MB ones.

Yeah it's already got puddle lights but I want them replaced with the projector type.

I'll call the dealership and ask about the genuine MB projection lights :)

@markjay thanks for the heads up on the official MB lights, my local dealership has some in stock which I'm collection today :)
Which did you go for, Mercedes “tri-star” or AMG logo?

Went to collect the projection puddle lights at lunch time, they brought out the lights that fit the C Class saloon.

The parts guy had no idea that they were different on the coupe

He couldn't find any on his system for the coupe, he's going to email MB to see if they do them for the coupe :(

The Tri Star :)

I'm hoping they're as good as the official Audi ones I had on my A4, they were so bright and so sharp
They're very bright and sharp, we have them in a few cars. They're expensive for what they are though.

Gutted, just had word back that MB don't do projection puddle lights for the Coupe 😭😭😭

How strange, you’d expect the puddle lights to be standard across models.
