W208 or A208 its 320 Clk Convertible Elegance 1999

I have a 1999 Mercedes 320 Clk Elegance Automatic on a T registration . The car was registered in April 1999 would that make it a series 1 or series 2 on and would it be A208 or W208 as it in designio Orange ( Copper colour)

A T Reg would be a pre facelift W208.

Designo Orange is cool as £uck, especially if you have the 2 tone black and orange seats

IIRC, pre-facelift models would not have had indicator lights in the wing mirrors.

Convertible = A208
Coupé = C208
W208 is just a generic name for that series.
