Anyone replaced the security/ignition lock stuff on a w210?
I have a complete set (I believe) of ECU, Ignition lock and 2 keys which were removed from a scrap car, or so I believe. Can I just replace all three and it works, or will I end up with a dead car that has to go to a dealer to be reset in some way?
This isn't the kind of thing I want to find out after the event...
