So i went to get my car aligned today but the technician was stumped when it came to adjusting toe on the rear axle. I've found a document which explains it, and it gives the impression that it's as simple as removing two bolts and then turning a nut, document is inserted below. Can anyone confirm this or advise further?

That's the adjuster, but you don't need to remove the bolts. The lock nut is a toques bit and then the adjuster is 21mm if i recall.

Alright thanks, i will bear this in mind when i next get it up on the ramp. Dare not say which place as they were good to me, guessing they've just never done a w211 before. Must be really old now =(

So far as age is concerned, the air springs so sage over time, leading to a limit in the adjustable parameters.

Steel spring set up, fresh billies from last year. But i don't think it's been tracked from the rear for a long time. I didn't think they were adjustable from the back but now i know.
