Hi, I have a 2007 S211 with comand and factory fitted I-Pod interface with connector in the glove box, it has steering wheel and dash integration and I select AUX on the comand to switch to the I-Pod.

I would like to intersect (if that's the correct word....) the AUX inputs that the I-Pod uses so I can regain use of the AUX input on the comand by use of a manual switch or relay for connection to a DAB tuner so when the DAB tuner is powered it takes priority over the I-Pod.

Has anyone done anything similar or have any info on where the I-Pod interface/control unit is located as I prefer to not have to start taking the dash apart or removing the comand if I don't have to?

Thanks

The ipod control box will be under the glove box.

Best option though is to pop the comand display out and on the back of it is the three wire aux going into the head unit. Intercept these rather than messing with the ipod control unit.
