Hi all, is the honeycomb grill that protects the radiators (just underneath the front numberplate) on a W212 replaceable without removing the bumper?

Anyone got any tips on how to do it?

Thanks!

No, it's not possible. Or at least, if it is possible, it would be like trying to do it blindfolded with a hand tied behind your back.

Bumper removal is pretty easy though.
Definitely a one person possible job. Just get some sheets, towels or rubbish duvet being chucked out to drop it on to to avoid scratches.

It's a bit time consuming and a bit of a faff removing the clips on the arch liners on each side, as the wheels need to be turned to make access easier.

I've removed mine probably 5x in 5 years.

I’d say it would probably be easier with the wheels removed, bit more room is always welcome.
