W212 ils headlight datamatrix code

Hi guys wondering if anyone can help me please, fitted new headlight module on left ils headlight on my e63 w212 facelift
But struggling to code/adapt new module
Using my launch x431 won’t scan the date matrix code, how can I obtain the code manually asking for a string of numbers ?

Are you sure that your Launch system can code that?

Will it need Star / Xentry to code it?

I have managed to copy data from old module & transfer to new one, but as mentioned in 1st post struggling to scan the datamatrix code to carry out adaption
As main beam isn’t working on light with new module.

Are you sure it doesn't need to be connected to a Mercedes system for proper coding?

Have you tried clean the code a bit?....the darker areas of dirt on the white may affect its ability to be scanned....just thinking out loud.

Exactly. If I remember right, at least Xentry used to accept the code being read by an external QR-code reader. Tested reading my car and a generic QR code app found the code fine.
