W212 navigation

Hi i just purchased w212 220cdi avantgarde and when I try use navigation it screen shows me no navigation ?maybe someone can help?

is it a Becker system with needing the box in the glovebox which has probably been removed by the previous owner to be sold on eBay. The other option it needs the sdcard in the radio to work.

Ok my w212 don't have becker system slot wtf?

On my W204 the BMP slot was on the inner/upper right-hand part of the glove compartment.

Check your car's VIN against a VIN decoder, see if it has 'navigation pre-wiring'.

Also, your Audio20 might be a later version that uses the Garmin Map Pilot SD card insteaf of the older Becker Map Pilot. Do you have an SD card slot anywhere?

No mate no sd car slot i already checked.

I checked cars equipment by vin and I found only audio 20 whit cd changer

My A207 (Cabrio version) has the following for Audio 20 with Becker Nav on a 2013 car.

Was it advertised as having navigation, or was it just assumed as it had the NAVI button? What year W212 did you buy?

Yes it has navi button, i bought it one month ago from dealer, actually i didn't check cars navigation before buying.

Becker Map Pilot was available for E-Class cars from late 2011 and up to March 2016. The car must have option 508. Otherwise, there's no Navigation option for the car (in spite of the Navi button on the radio).

Ok so can I try change from audio 20 to audio 50 it's possible?

I don't know.

But you can change from Audio20 to COMAND... great upgrade (but not cheap, obviously).

Had mine done at www.comand.co.uk - highly recommended.

I have just installed a 10.25" android head unit which sits across the top of Comand and allows me to use Waze, Google maps etc instead. All of the Mercedes NAV options are pretty poor in comparison.
