So frustrating this as my car puts food on the table. I’m on the 3rd set in 12 months now. I have done 70k granted, and the car is on 200k, but I can get to approx 5k before it happens again.

I’ve tried ECP standards to Brembo! Same issue both sides.

Reading around and asking online, I’ve had multiple suggestions from torquing the wheel nuts instead of gun, to wheel bearing replacements, to whole hub replacements!

Mech said calliper looked fine last time.

Just don’t known what to throw hard earned money at next. Any suggestions?

My first suggestion every time would be a few hard high speed brake applications (not to a complete stop) just to remove any pad build up on the discs. Depending on how and where one drives this can be relatively common.
Secondly always ensure the disc to hub mating faces are completely clean, the slightest bit of dirt can cause disc run-out and problems.

We have had this discussion a number of times . The general feeling (in my opinion) is that is is very difficult to actually warp a disc on a road car in normal diving conditions.

OP , have you had the removed discs put in a lathe and checked for warp , when your new discs have been fitted have you had any run out checked with a DTI ?

Well when you get brake judder people change the disc did anybody put a clock to see if there was any runout on the disc? some of the time it is a caliper sticking I think this is the most likely reason, because the give away is that you do some mileage ok when new pads and discs are fitted,as the pad wears down the piston in the caliper has to move further out and it sticks, you are replacing both dics's but do you have any idea that one side is maybe the worst,if so a cheap lets see if it is the say right front caliper is to buy one on ebay fit it and using the old pads drive it and see.

Would that be the lower front front or lower front rear? 😂 bloody Mercs with their multi link crap! Left lower front front was replaced 6 months ago.
Both would be my plan . Apart from the newest one you just did .
After all you have now proved it’s not the discs .
The arms would be well passed their best after 80-100k .

Can anybody point me in the direction of where I can find a diagram of the suspension with the part numbers? I’m tempted to change both sets of lower arms, both calipers and the wheel bearings. I’m going to price it up first though. Would you include the wishbone in that change?

Try this

All the calliper part numbers on there seem to say 32mm, and I’m sure mine are 28mm.

Does it matter?
